The flag has a red field with the arms of the Amphibious Corps in the
center, arms of City of Vaxholm upper left corner, arms of Gotland in lower
left corner. The flag was introduced by HM the King to the Regiment at Fort
Vaxholm on June 12, 2003.

In 2000, the Swedish Coastal Artillery regiments were converted into Amphibious regiments. The Royal Coastal Artillery Regiment of Vaxholm (KA 1) (Kungliga Vaxholms kustartelleriregimente] became the Royal Amphibious Regiment of Vaxholm (Amf 1) (Kungliga Vaxholms amfibieregimente).
The Coat of Arms was introduced the same year [2000].
Kristian Söderberg, 28 July 2005
The arms are obviously assumed from the Coast Artillery regiment to the
Amphibious regiment.
